Fr. Raymond S. Smialowski is a native of New Britain, Connecticut. He received his early education at Sacred Heart School in New Britain. He is a graduate of New Britain High School and Trinity College in Hartford. He completed his theological studies at St. John’s Seminary in Boston.
He was ordained in 1982 by the late Archbishop John F. Whealon. In his first assignment he served as parochial vicar at Holy Spirit parish in Newington from 1982-1987. From 1987 to 2003 he served as the Director of Campus Ministry for Catholic students at Trinity College in Hartford and the University of Hartford in West Hartford.
On September 14, 2003 he was assigned by the Archbishop Daniel A. Cronin to serve the spiritual needs of St. Stanislaus Church, first as administrator of the parish and then as pastor.
Fr. Daniel Wojtun has been serving at St. Stanislaus parish since June 29, 2017 as the Parochial Vicar. He was ordained for service in the Archdiocese of Hartford in 2007.
